Andre Harke’s intent is not to display a likeness or personality in his illustrations but to capture an exchange between an inner and outer experience, with one fuelling the other though inspiration and production. It is through this process of conscious self exploration and actualisation that he identifies with himself as an artist and a creator

“I use my drawings as a reflection of myself, so that I am more able to understand this aspect within me and can become conscious about it. A drawing is always like a mirror to me, reflecting something which is hidden within me.”~ AH
